TIM O'DONOHUE, LCPC

Tim O’Donohue is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He has 25 + years of experience specializing in couples & marriage counseling, trauma, anger-management domestic violence prevention & intervention, and addiction.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and speech communication from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and his Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Benedictine University. Tim is the author of the 30 Days to Right your Relationship book & workbook and Ten Steps to Better Living, a guide to positive relationships. He has also developed and created The Conflict Navigator app for couples. Tim has led training workshops for the Chicago Police Department, the Archdiocese of Chicago, and numerous other groups and agencies in the Chicago area on topics of domestic violence, substance abuse, and positive relationships. Tim is a Reiki Master and trained in several other holistic Eastern approaches. He is an avid learner and consistently works on building his strengths and learning new approaches in order to provide a consistently unique and effective approach to his clients. Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington. She is passionate about guiding individuals, couples and families with a strengths-based, whole person approach. She helps clients develop the skills needed for positive and impactful change both individually and within their relationships. Katie graduated from Adler University with a Masters in Counseling Specializing in Sport and Health Psychology and received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Governor State University in University Park. HEATHER BETH DUKE

- Rebuilding trust - Intimacy issues - Adjusting to cohabitation - Reigniting the spark - Divorce or trial separation Heather Beth Duke, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, is passionate about working with couples and helping them grow. She has also helped countless individuals on their healing journey.
Using the knowledge she received in Gottman training, she is able to tailor her therapeutic approach to couples in distress. In sessions with clients, she listens, teaches, and challenges both individuals and couples to deconstruct patterns of unhealthy communication that were modeled during their childhood. Heather recognizes that if we want to stay with our partner long-term, we need to learn how to express our deepest wants and needs. She received her Master's Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marital/Family therapy from Capella University. She has completed Level 1 and 2 of Gottman training and models much of her counseling approach after Virginia Satir. As a lifelong follower of the Christian faith, Heather understands the importance of incorporating spirituality into sessions when requested by clients. Kate Umbriaco, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has experience working with both individuals and leading group therapy. Kate believes in joining clients where they are in their journey, and she knows that not every path towards improvement looks the same.
She works collaboratively with the individual to identify areas in which improvement is desired and helps develop a plan of action specifically tailored to achieve these goals. She will assist you in gaining confidence in implementing effective coping strategies and using tools to promote healthy growth and change. Kate graduated from Trinity Christian College with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.

Tiffany Stack, Clinical Counselor, is our newest counselor here at RelationshipStore. Prior to becoming a counselor, Tiffany was our intern and became an integral part of our team. In her time here, she found that she had a passion for working with clients to help build self-esteem, move past body image issues, and learn coping skills to handle difficult challenges they're facing.
She graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern Illinois University with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Tiffany obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Depaul University where she also worked as a research assistant. She conducted research on the benefits of expressing gratitude, the effects of social inclusion and exclusion, and eating disorders. When she’s not spending time at the office or studying, she enjoys running, cooking, crafting, and listening to her favorite musical artist, Elvis. What you can expect: |
